January and February have been super busy with the launch of our first three Future Ready Programmes. We are thrilled to be working with Chorlton High School, Harrop Fold School and Manchester Communication Academy.
Each school has a cohort of 15 students who we are seeing on a weekly basis.
The first workshops have involved students working on their digital and communication skills. They are all now well on their way to securing their iDEA Award and have spent time working together and getting to know the rest of their group.
So far we have enjoyed workshops from Hannah Matthewman of Tunafish Media talking (focussing on Social Media for Business), Chris Townsend of What Marketing (looking at an intro to Marketing), and Naomi Timperley of Wakelet/ Tech North Advocates (introducing the iDEA Award and teaching students how to utilise Wakelet for research and school work).
We hope all of our students have a great half term and can't wait to see you next week!
