It's finally time to Step Up!

We are so thrilled that last week, we finally had our FIRST face to face session for our Step Up Project (our collaboration with Stockport County FC and Stockport Council) since December 2019!

We welcomed 14 young people from across Stockport and we had two hours of outdoor activities including scavenger hunts, tug of war and hide and seek!

It was great to finally be working with the group in person after having had our initial two sessions on Zoom. There was fantastic team work, resilience and problem solving showed by all.

We can't wait for our next session with the students on Saturday 17th July. On that session we will be joined by our peer mentors from the Empower programme (who took part in Step up themselves last year!). It's so good to see our students in person again, long may it continue!
