On Saturday 25th June our Culture Club were at Stockport Art Gallery! They took part in a fantastic Mosaic Making Session with local artist Jackie Wragg.
Jackie led the group in choosing a design, fulfilling the process step by step and creating their own unique tile. On a summer theme, the club were given a choice of templates they could use or they could create their own design. After choosing their design, they mapped out and traced the plan onto the coaster base before placing their pieces and choosing their colours. They were given a great basis on which to use their creative brains and make their tile their own.
It was so great to see the club get their creative hats on, and we really enjoyed the session in a new space and environment! Big thankyou to Katherine from the Gallery, Jackie and of course, our funders RTime.
